Black Bayou Water Association, Inc. is a customer owned non-profit rural water system. We provide public water to over 6,500 people, through approximately 2,600 connections, and over 480 miles of pipe. This service is provided to multiple communities throughout the Mississippi Delta. We provide service in Washington, Bolivar, Sunflower, Issaquena, and Sharkey Counties. The original Black Bayou Water System went into service in 1991 and has grown throughout the years as we merge with smaller rural water systems in the region.
